CommonSearch will index the web and allow anyone to download that index and run it on it's own servers. The service is geared towards businesses in the knowledge and data mining industry. Today companies have to pay google,bing or yahoo to use their search api on their proprietary index if they want to search for specific data. Our vision is to make knowledge and information free and accessible to everyone. We believe being a source of information will enable us to generate revenues by giving different services around that information. In the initial stage the business model will be a subscription to our hosted index giving significant price discount on current costs of searching via google,bing or yahoo and with less restrictions and greater flexibility in search such as giving more results per search (currently limited to 64 by google and around 200 by bing)
